Alan is one of the senior valuation staff members employed by Davies Batley Valuers Limited and has been a registered valuer since April 1972. Alan was previously a long term North Shore resident born on Auckland’s North Shore and attended initially Campbells Bay School, Murrays Bay Intermediate School and Westlake Boys High School.

He commenced a career in the Valuation Department in 1967 as a cadet valuer and entered into a private practice valuation firm in the early 1970s and has been involved in the provision of registered valuation for property since that date.

Alan holds the Diploma in Urban Valuation from the Auckland University and is an associate member of the New Zealand Institute of Valuers and a senior member of the New Zealand Property Institute.

Alan currently resides within the south western area of Rodney and lives on a larger lifestyle block. His family is now grown up and he has been actively involved in the North Shore community over a number of years and has been a member of the Takapuna North Rotary Club for 20 years and is also a member of the North Harbour Club which supports youth on Auckland’s North Shore with a number of facets including arts, sport, music etc

In the past Alan has completed a wide range of valuation work and has been the consultant to larger organisations including Dominion Breweries Limited and the original McDonalds System of New Zealand Limited and the Heritage Hotels organisation. Alan continues his consultancy/valuation work for a number of larger organisations and a number of North Shore based businesses.

In the past Alan was involved in yachting/sailing and was a past commodore of the Murrays Bay Sailing Club and is currently a member of the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron and has sat on sub committees of Yachting New Zealand.

John Batley

John Batley

Registered Valuer

John is currently a resident of Auckland’s North Shore and lives in the suburb of Milford. His family is now grown up and he has been actively involved with property for 30 plus years. Originally John completed the Diploma of Urban Valuation at Auckland University while working with Housing New Zealand.

John has spent considerable time operating a property development company, Batley Builders Limited in the western suburbs of Auckland. Over more recent years John has returned to valuation work and has been involved in predominantly the valuation of residential property in the greater Auckland area.

John has undertaken a number of valuation assignments on very good quality high valued residential property along the waterfront/foreshore of Auckland’s North Shore. John is a valuation advisor/consultant to several organisations including one or two larger private property investment organisations.

John is a very keen golfer and is currently a committee member of the Titirangi Golf Club and is actively involved in the ongoing running and management of the Titirangi Golf Club, especially the maintenance of the club’s fairways and greens. John has been a keen sportsman over a number of years and along with his family has been deeply involved in community based organisations on Auckland’s North Shore.

Allen Keung

Allen Keung

Registered Valuer

Allen is a registered valuer with a Bachelor of Property Degree from the Auckland University. He was previously employed by Quotable Value New Zealand and operates primarily in the southern isthmus/South Auckland locality of the greater Auckland area. Allen is a resident of Mangere Bridge and has been a registered valuer for nine years.

Allen’s expertise involves predominantly the valuation of a large number of residential properties through the Auckland isthmus and the South Auckland locality.

He is deeply involved in local community based organisations in the Mangere Bridge/South Auckland locality and is bilingual speaking Cantonese. Allen is a dedicated family man and has a family of seven children ranging in age from 12 months through to 15 years.
