Davies Batley Valuers are a well established property valuation company predominantly valuing property in the North Shore locality and further afield into Waitakere City, Auckland City and Manukau City - South Auckland. We also undertake valuation assignments to the north in the south western area of the Rodney District for lifestyle properties and around the urban areas of Orewa/Hibiscus Coast, Whangaparaoa.
The majority of our work is predominantly residential work however a fair proportion of our work also includes a full range of commercial and industrial properties both close at hand and further removed through the Auckland urban area.
Valuation Reports
In completing the valuation reports on residential, commercial and industrial property in the greater Auckland area the principal three valuers are the valuers who inspect the properties and formulate the valuation reports.
All three valuers have been involved in real estate valuation activity for a number of years with two of the valuers having had experience for at least 25 to 30 years. Our valuation personnel has seen a number of cycles/trends through the property market over this time and believe the most up to date sales/rental data is very important in completing the relevant valuation assignments. Consequently the firm has access to a number of data bases which we believe provides the most accurate information for both sales of property and for leasing of property.
Our principal valuers have been involved personally and both on a business basis in construction and development of some residential/commercial properties over time and have the knowledge and experience of the various materials that are used, the construction processes that would be required and the expertise with regard to costings etc.

Property Consultancy Work
One facet of our work as registered valuers is providing ongoing consultancy for a number of large property development/construction companies plus private individuals and large property owning business organisations.
Our expertise is keenly sought after by many of these organisations and on a regular basis we are involved in providing both valuation and consultancy advice on many projects. In the past the principal valuers have undertaken valuation tasks both for value and rental on a large number of property portfolios including a number of commercial properties and even specialist properties.
The firm has been involved on an ongoing basis providing valuation/consultancy advice to a number of community based organisations.
